RHS Rosemoor Torrington
11th August 2019RHS Rosemoor is in Torrington, only a 5 minute drive down the road from Moorparks. As members, it’s nice to pop in for a short while just to see what is different. During the summer holidays we don’t usually get much of a change to visit, but last week we had some spare time so went along. The last few times we have been there has been some construction work going on, all exciting stuff. This time the ‘Cool Garden’ had been completed and was open.
We took a walk around the forrest walk, not something we have done before.
On the other side of the gardens we had a quick look at the vintage cars which were on display. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to stay and listen to Torrington Silver band who were playing.
It’s good to go down to Rosemoor to see what they do and how they do it. This year is still a learning year: learning not to plant so many tomatoes, cucumbers and courgettes!
